GTS Acquires Topshelf Hockey

GTS Hockey is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Topshelf hockey stick Company.

GTS Hockey Acquires Assets of Topshelf Hockey Company

The acquisition focuses on Topshelf’s hockey stick brands, it’s advanced manufacturing process and proprietary technologies. Founded in 2012, Topshelf manufactures a full line of elite quality carbon fiber hockey sticks.

Although a still a young manufacturer,  Topshelf has gained a loyal following for their focus on exceptional quality.  Topshelf’s flagship stick, the Ziel, has gained increasing popularity among European professional players over the last two seasons.

Utilizing an advanced single compression molding process Topshelf’s sticks are lighter, better performing and more durable than those produced using traditional manufacturing methods. In traditional manufacturing, the shaft and blade of the stick are independent components which are then fused together.

The Topshelf stick line for the 2016-17 season will debut this spring with a number of engineering enhancements to further solidify the Topshelf’s commitment to maximum performance. GTS will also be launching an exclusive pro stock hockey stick, the Edge, and an exciting junior line of hockey sticks, the FX Series, which couple pro level performance with low flex shafts designed specifically for younger hockey players.
